ﺃﺧﺒﺮﻧﺎ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺑﻦ ﺍﻟﻤﻈﻔﺮ ﺍﻟﻤﻘﺮﻱ ، ﻗﺎﻝ : ﺣﺪﺛﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﺤﺴﻴﻦ ﺑﻦ ] ﺹ: 198 [ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﺑﻦ ﺣﺒﺶ ﺍﻟﻤﻘﺮﻱ ، ﻗﺎﻝ : ﺣﺪﺛﻨﺎ ﺃﺑﻮ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﻋﺒﺪ ﺍﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ ﺑﻦ ﺃﺑﻲ ﺣﺎﺗﻢ ، ﻗﺎﻝ : ﺳﺄﻟﺖ ﺃﺑﻲ ﻭﺃﺑﺎ ﺯﺭﻋﺔ ﻋﻦ ﻣﺬﺍﻫﺐ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺴﻨﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺃﺻﻮﻝ ﺍﻟﺪﻳﻦ ، ﻭﻣﺎ ﺃﺩﺭﻛﺎ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺍﻟﻌﻠﻤﺎﺀ ﻓﻲ ﺟﻤﻴﻊ ﺍﻷﻣﺼﺎﺭ ، ﻭﻣﺎ ﻳﻌﺘﻘﺪﺍﻥ ﻣﻦ ﺫﻟﻚ ؟ ﻓﻘﺎﻻ : ” ﺃﺩﺭﻛﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻌﻠﻤﺎﺀ ﻓﻲ ﺟﻤﻴﻊ ﺍﻷﻣﺼﺎﺭ ﺣﺠﺎﺯﺍ ﻭﻋﺮﺍﻗﺎ ﻭﺷﺎﻣﺎ ﻭﻳﻤﻨﺎ ﻓﻜﺎﻥ ﻣﻦ ﻣﺬﻫﺒﻬﻢ
Imam Abu Muhammad Abdur Rahman bin Abi Hatim Ar Razi (may Allah have mercy on him) said that I asked my father (Abu Hatim Ar Raazi) and Abu Zarra Ar Raazi (may Allah have mercy on them) about the madhab of Ahl us Sunnah in Usool-e-Deen and about the aqeedah of scholars of all the lands and also asked about their own aqeedah… So they answered that we have found the scholars of Hijaz, Iraq, Egypt, Syria and Yemen on the following madhab
ﺍﻹﻳﻤﺎﻥ ﻗﻮﻝ ﻭﻋﻤﻞ ، ﻳﺰﻳﺪ ﻭﻳﻨﻘﺺ
Indeed eeman is [the name of] sayings and actions and it increases and decreases.
ﻭﺍﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﻛﻼﻡ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻏﻴﺮ ﻣﺨﻠﻮﻕ ﺑﺠﻤﻴﻊ ﺟﻬﺎﺗﻪ
Quran by all means is the word of Allah, not a creation.
ﻭﺍﻟﻘﺪﺭ ﺧﻴﺮﻩ ﻭﺷﺮﻩ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ – ﻋﺰ ﻭﺟﻞ
Good and bad decree [fate] is from Allah alone.
ﻭﺧﻴﺮ ﻫﺬﻩ ﺍﻷﻣﺔ ﺑﻌﺪ ﻧﺒﻴﻬﺎ – ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺍﻟﺼﻼﺓ ﻭﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ – ﺃﺑﻮ ﺑﻜﺮ ﺍﻟﺼﺪﻳﻖ ، ﺛﻢ ﻋﻤﺮ ﺑﻦ ﺍﻟﺨﻄﺎﺏ ، ﺛﻢ ﻋﺜﻤﺎﻥ ﺑﻦ ﻋﻔﺎﻥ ، ﺛﻢ ﻋﻠﻲ ﺑﻦ ﺃﺑﻲ ﻃﺎﻟﺐ – ﻋﻠﻴﻬﻢ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ – ﻭﻫﻢ ﺍﻟﺨﻠﻔﺎﺀ ﺍﻟﺮﺍﺷﺪﻭﻥ ﺍﻟﻤﻬﺪﻳﻮﻥ
The best ones in our Ummah after the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) are Abu bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali and they are the righteous caliphs.
ﻭﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﻌﺸﺮﺓ ﺍﻟﺬﻳﻦ ﺳﻤﺎﻫﻢ ﺭﺳﻮﻝ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ – ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ – ﻭﺷﻬﺪ ﻟﻬﻢ ﺑﺎﻟﺠﻨﺔ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﺎ ﺷﻬﺪ ﺑﻪ ﺭﺳﻮﻝ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ – ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ – ﻭﻗﻮﻟﻪ ﺍﻟﺤﻖ
The ten (ashraah mubashara)who were given the good news [of paradise] by the Prophet are for us, people of Paradise and what the Prophet said is the Truth.
ﻭﺍﻟﺘﺮﺣﻢ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺟﻢﻳﻊ ﺃﺻﺤﺎﺏ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ – ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ – ﻭﺍﻟﻜﻒ ﻋﻤﺎ ﺷﺠﺮ ﺑﻴﻨﻬﻢ
We should invoke for Allah’s mercy for all the companions of the prophet and should keep silent about the disagreements between them.
ﻭﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ – ﻋﺰ ﻭﺟﻞ – ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﺮﺷﻪ ﺑﺎﺋﻦ ﻣﻦ ﺧﻠﻘﻪ ﻛﻤﺎ ﻭﺻﻒ ﻧﻔﺴﻪ ﻓﻲ ﻛﺘﺎﺑﻪ ، ﻭﻋﻠﻰ ﻟﺴﺎﻥ ﺭﺳﻮﻟﻪ – ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ – ﺑﻼ ﻛﻴﻒ ، ﺃﺣﺎﻁ ﺑﻜﻞ ﺷﻲﺀ ﻋﻠﻤﺎ ، ) ﻟﻴﺲ ﻛﻤﺜﻠﻪ ﺷﻲﺀ ﻭﻫﻮ ﺍﻟﺴﻤﻴﻊ ﺍﻟﺒﺼﻴﺮ
Allah is above His Throne without any comparison to any of His Creation as He has mentioned in His book and as our Prophet has said. His Knowledge encompasses everything, There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
ﻭﺃﻧﻪ ﺗﺒﺎﺭﻙ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ﻳﺮﻯ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻵﺧﺮﺓ ، ﻳﺮﺍﻩ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺠﻨﺔ ﺑﺄﺑﺼﺎﺭﻫﻢ ] ﺹ : 199 [ ﻭﻳﺴﻤﻌﻮﻥ ﻛﻼﻣﻪ ﻛﻴﻒ ﺷﺎﺀ ﻭﻛﻤﺎ ﺷﺎﺀ
Allah will be seen in the Hereafter. The people of Jannah will see Him with their own eyes and they will talk to Him however and whenever they wish.
ﻭﺍﻟﺠﻨﺔ ﺣﻖ ، ﻭﺍﻟﻨﺎﺭ ﺣﻖ ، ﻭﻫﻤﺎ ﻣﺨﻠﻮﻗﺎﻥ ﻻ ﻳﻔﻨﻴﺎﻥ ﺃﺑﺪﺍ ، ﻭﺍﻟﺠﻨﺔ ﺛﻮﺍﺏ ﻷﻭﻟﻴﺎﺋﻪ ، ﻭﺍﻟﻨﺎﺭ ﻋﻘﺎﺏ ﻷﻫﻞ ﻣﻌﺺﻳﺘﻪ ﺇﻻ ﻣﻦ ﺭﺣﻢ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ – ﻋﺰ ﻭﺟﻞ
Paradise is True, Hell is the True, and both are [maqlooq] will never end. The friends of Allah will be compensated with Paradise and the ones who disobey Him will be compensated with the torment of Hell except on whom He has Mercy.
The bridge of Siraat is True.
ﻭﺍﻟﻤﻴﺰﺍﻥ ﺣﻖ ، ﻟﻪ ﻛﻔﺘﺎﻥ ، ﺗﻮﺯﻥ ﻓﻴﻪ ﺃﻋﻤﺎﻝ ﺍﻟﻌﺒﺎﺩ ﺣﺴﻨﻬﺎ ﻭﺳﻴﺌﻬﺎ ﺣﻖ
There are two scales of the balance [Meezan] where the slaves’ good and bad deeds will be weighed.
ﻭﺍﻟﺤﻮﺽ ﺍﻟﻤﻜﺮﻡ ﺑﻪ ﻧﺒﻴﻨﺎ ﺣﻖ . ﻭﺍﻟﺸﻔﺎﻋﺔ ﺣﻖ
The Prophet’s Pond of Kawthar is True, And his intercession is True.
ﻭﺃﻥ ﻧﺎﺳًﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺘﻮﺣﻴﺪ ﻳﺨﺮﺟﻮﻥ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺭ ﺑﺎﻟﺸﻔﺎﻋﺔ ﺣﻖ
Some people from the Ahl-e-Tawheed taken out from the Hell Fire due to intercession of the prophet is True.
ﻭﻋﺬﺍﺏ ﺍﻟﻘﺒﺮ ﺣﻖ
The punishment of the grave is true.
ﻭﻣﻨﻜﺮ ﻭﻧﻜﻴﺮ ﺣﻖ
Munkar and Nakeer [the questioning angels in the grave] are True.
ﻭﺍﻟﻜﺮﺍﻡ ﺍﻟﻜﺎﺗﺒﻮﻥ ﺣﻖ
Kiraman Katibeen [recording angels] are true.
ﻭﺍﻟﺒﻌﺚ ﺑﻌﺪ ﺍﻟﻤﻮﺕ ﺣﻖ
Being resurrected after death is True.
ﻭﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﻜﺒﺎﺋﺮ ﻓﻲ ﻣﺸﻴﺌﺔ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﺰ ﻭﺟﻞ ، ﻻ ﻧﻜَّﻔﺮ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﻘﺒﻠﺔ ﺑﺬﻧﻮﺑﻬﻢ ، ﻭﻧﻜﻞ ﺳﺮﺍﺋﺮﻫﻢ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﺰ ﻭﺟﻞ
The case of the people doing major sins is handled according to Allah’s will. If He wishes he will punish them and if he wishes he will forgive them. We cannot do their takfir due to the sins of the people of the Qibla. We let their case be handled by Allah.
ﻭﻧﻘﻴﻢ ﻓﺮﺽ ﺍﻟﺠﻬﺎﺩ ﻭﺍﻟﺤﺞ ﻣﻊ ﺃﺋﻤﺔ ﺍﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﻴﻦ ﻓﻲ ﻛﻞ ﺩﻫﺮ ﻭﺯﻣﺎﻥ
In every period of time, we, Muslims will do jihad with (supporting) the rulers and act on the obligation of hajj.
ﻭﻻ ﻧﺮﻯ ﺍﻟﺨﺮﻭﺝ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻷﺋﻤﺔ ﻭﻻ ﺍﻟﻘﺘﺎﻝ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻔﺘﻨﺔ
We, Muslims are not bent upon rebelling against our leaders/rulers and neither do we support the killing of each other during times of trials.
ﻭﻧﺴﻤﻊ ﻭﻧﻄﻴﻊ ﻟﻤﻦ ﻭﻻﻩ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﺃﻣﺮﻧﺎ ﻭﻻ ﻧﻨﺰﻉ ﻳﺪًﺍ ﻣﻦ ﻃﺎﻋﺔ
We listen and obey the one who has been made our ruler/leader by Allah and never do we slip away from following him.
ﻭﻧﺘﺒﻊ ﺍﻟﺴﻨﺔ ﻭﺍﻟﺠﻤﺎﻋﺔ ﻭﻧﺘﺠﻨﺐ ﺍﻟﺸﺬﻭﺫ ﻭﺍﻟﺨﻼﻑ ﻭﺍﻟﻔﺮﻗﺔ
We follow the Ijmaah of Ahl-us-sunnah wal jamaah and stay away from disputes, disagreements and sects.
ﻭﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﺠﻬﺎﺩ ﻣﺎﺽٍ ﻣﻨﺬ ﺑﻌﺚ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﺰ ﻭﺟﻞ ﻧﺒﻴﻪ ﺇﻟﻰ ﻗﻴﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﺴﺎﻋﺔ ﻣﻊ ﺃﻭﻟﻲ ﺍﻷﻣﺮ ﻣﻦ ﺃﺋﻤﺔ ﺍﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﻴﻦ، ﻻﻳﺒﻄﻠﻪ ﺷﻲﺀ؛
From the time Allah has sent His Prophet as a messenger, Muslims have fought along with their rulers against the disbelievers and will continue to do it.
And similar is the case of hajj.
ﻭﺩﻓﻊ ﺍﻟﺼﺪﻗﺎﺕ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﺴﻮﺍﺋﻢ ﺇﻟﻰ ﺃﻭﻟﻲ ﺍﻷﻣﺮ ﻣﻦ ﺃﺋﻤﺔ ﺍﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﻴﻦ
And giving the Sadaqah of the grazing livestock to the leader of the Muslims.
ﻭﺍﻟﻨﺎﺱ ﻣﺆﻣﺌﻮﻥ ﻓﻲ ﺃﺣﻜﺎﻣﻬﻢ ﻭﻣﻮﺍﺭﻳﺜﻬﻢ ، ﻭﻻ ﻧﺪﺭﻱ ﻣﺎ ﻫﻢ ﻋﻨﺪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ – ﻋﺰ ﻭﺟﻞ . ] ﺹ: 200 [ ﻓﻤﻦ ﻗﺎﻝ : ﺇﻧﻪ ﻣﺆﻣﻦ ﺣﻘﺎ ﻓﻬﻮ ﻣﺒﺘﺪﻉ ، ﻭﻣﻦ ﻗﺎﻝ : ﻫﻮ ﻣﺆﻣﻦ ﻋﻨﺪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻓﻬﻮ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻜﺎﺫﺑﻴﻦ ، ﻭﻣﻦ ﻗﺎﻝ : ﻫﻮ ﻣﺆﻣﻦ ﺑﺎﻟﻠﻪ ﺣﻘﺎ ﻓﻬﻮ ﻣﺼﻴﺐ
And people are treated as believers (Mu’mineen) in regards to their rulings and their inheritance, but we do not know how they are regarded by Allah Subhnahu Wa Taa’la. So whoever says that he is a true believer then he is an innovator, and whoever says that he is a believer in the sight of Allah, then he is from the liars. And whoever says that he believes in Allah truely, then he is right.
ﻭﺍﻟﻤﺮﺟﺌﺔ ﺍﻟﻤﺒﺘﺪﻋﺔ ﺿﻼﻝ
A Murjites (who believe that acts of disobedience were meaningless as long as the person who did them was a believer) are innovators and deviants.
ﻭﺍﻟﻘﺪﺭﻳﺔ ﻣﺒﺘﺪﻋﺔ ﺿﻼﻝ، ﻭﻣﻦ ﺃﻧﻜﺮ ﻣﻨﻬﻢ ﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﺰ ﻭﺟﻞ ﻻ ﻳﻌﻠﻢ ﻣﺎ ﻳﻜﻮﻥ ﻗﺒﻞ ﺃﻥ ﻳﻜﻮﻥ ﻓﻬﻮ ﻛﺎﻓﺮ
The Qadariyyah (those who reject al qadr) are innovators and deviants. If someone from them believes that Allah does not know of a certain thing before it is going to happen then such a person is a kaafir.
ﻭﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﺠﻬﻤﻴﺔ ﻛﻔﺎﺭ
The Jahmiyyah are kaafirs.
ﻭﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﺮﺍﻓﻀﺔ ﺭﻓﻀﻮﺍ ﺍﻹﺳﻼﻡ
The Raafdhis have left Islam.
ﻭﺍﻟﺨﻮﺍﺭﺝ ﻣُﺮّﺍﻕ .
The Khawaarij are apostates.
ﻭﻣﻦ ﺯﻋﻢ ﺃﻥ ﺍﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﻣﺨﻠﻮﻕ ﻓﻬﻮ ﻛﺎﻓﺮ ﺑﺎﻟﻠﻪ – ﺍﻟﻌﻈﻴﻢ – ﻛﻔﺮًﺍ ﻳﻨﻘﻞ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻤﻠﺔ ، ﻭﻣﻦ ﺷﻚ ﻓﻲ ﻛﻔﺮﻩ ﻣﻤﻦ ﻳﻔﻬﻢ ﻓﻬﻮ ﻛﺎﻓﺮ
Those who say that Qur’an is a ‘creation’ is a kaafir and out of the fold of Islam. A person who, after knowing the fact of their deviance, does not believes in their kufr is kaafir himself
ﻭﻣﻦ ﺷﻚ ﻓﻲ ﻛﻼﻡ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ – ﻋﺰ ﻭﺟﻞ – ﻓﻮﻗﻒ ﺷﺎﻛًﺎ ﻓﻴﻪ ﻳﻘﻮﻝ “ﻻ ﺃﺩﺭﻱ ﻣﺨﻠﻮﻕ ﺃﻭ ﻏﻴﺮ ﻣﺨﻠﻮﻕ ” ﻓﻬﻮ ﺟﻬﻤﻲ
Those who doubt Allah’s word (Qur’an) and says that he does not know for sure if Qur’an is a creation or not is a Jahmi
ﻭﻣﻦ ﻭﻗﻒ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﺟﺎﻫﻼ ﻋُﻠِّﻢَ ﻭﺑُﺪِّﻉ ﻭﻟﻢ ﻳُﻜﻔَّﺮ
A person who doubt Qur’an in ignorance would be explained about it, we will consider him an innovator but we would not do takfir of him.
ﻭﻣﻦ ﻗﺎﻝ “ﻟﻔﻈﻲ ﺑﺎﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﻣﺨﻠﻮ” ﺃﻭ ” ﺍﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﺑﻠﻔﻈﻲ ﻣﺨﻠﻮﻕ ” ﻓﻬﻮ ﺟﻬﻤﻲ
A person who says lafzi bil Qur’an (reciting the Qur’an is makhlooq) or quran bil lafzi (Qur’an is makhlooq with my recitation) is a Jahmi.
ﻗﺎﻝ ﺃﺑﻮ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ : ﻭﺳﻤﻌﺖ ﺃﺑﻲ ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ ﻳﻘﻮﻝ : ﻋﻼﻣﺔ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺒﺪﻉ ﺍﻟﻮﻗﻴﻌﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻷﺛﺮ
Abu Hatim ar razi has stated that the sign of innovators is that they attack the ahle aasaar (the followers of narrations).
ﻭﻋﻼﻣﺔ ﺍﻟﺰﻧﺎﺩﻗﺔ ﺗﺴﻤﻴﺘﻬﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻷﺛﺮ ﺣﺸﻮﻳﺔ ، ﻳﺮﻳﺪﻭﻥ ﺇﺑﻄﺎﻝ ﺍﻵﺛﺎﺭ
And the sign of the Zanadiqah is that they call the Ahlul Aathar as Hashwiyyah, intending to invalidate the narrations.
ﻭﻋﻼﻣﺔ ﺍﻟﺠﻬﻤﻴﺔ ﺗﺴﻤﻴﺘﻬﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺴﻨﺔ ﻣﺸﺒَّﻬﺔ
The sign of Jahmiyyah is that they consider Ahlus Sunnah as the Mushabihah – Anthropomorphists (a group which compares Creator with the creations).
39) ﻭﻋﻼﻣﺔ ﺍﻟﻘﺪﺭﻳﺔ ﺗﺴﻤﻴﺘﻬﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺴﻨﺔ ﻣﺠﺒﺮﺓ .
The sign of Qadariyyah is that they consider the Ahlus Sunnah as the Mujbara-( Compulsives because Ahlus Sunnah maintain a belief that all products of creation [makhluqat] are entirely dependent on the volition [mashi’a], the power [qudra], the will [irada] and the creativity [khalq] of Allah (Exalted is He.)
ﻭﻋﻼﻣﺔ ﺍﻟﻤﺮﺟﺌﺔ ﺗﺴﻤﻴﺘﻬﻢ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺴﻨﺔ ﻣﺨﺎﻟﻔﺔ ﻭﻧﻘﺼﺎﻧﻴﺔ
The sign of the Murji’ah is that they call the Ahlus Sunnah Mukhalifah and Nuqsaniyyah.
ﻭﻋﻼﻣﺔ ﺍﻟﺮﺍﻓﻀﺔ ﺗﺴﻤﻴﺔ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺴﻨﺔ ﻧﺎﺻﺒﺔ
The sign of Rafidha is that they call Ahlus Sunnah as Nasibiyya – enemies of ahlul bayt.
] ﻭﻇﻞ ﻫﺬﺍ ﺃﻣﺮ ﻋﺼﺒﺎﺕ ﻣﻌﺼﻴﺎﺕ [ . ﻭﻻ ﻳﻠﺤﻖ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺴﻨﺔ ﺇﻻ ﺍﺳﻢ ﻭﺍﺣﺪ، ﻭﻳﺴﺘﺤﻴﻞ ﺃﻥ ﻳﺠﻤﻌﻪ ﻫﺬﻩ ﺍﻷﺳﺎﻣﻲ
The base of all these names is innovation, there is only one name for Ahlus Sunnah, and it is impossible for them to be associated with all these names.
ﻗﺎﻝ ﺃﺑﻮ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ : ﻭﺳﻤﻌﺖ ﺃﺑﻲ ﻭﺃﺑﺎ ﺯﺭﻋﺔ ﻳﺄﻣﺮﺍﻥ ﺑﻬﺠﺮﺍﻥ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﺰﻳﻎ ﻭﺍﻟﺒﺪﻉ ، ﻭﻳﻐﻠﻄﺎﻥ ﺭﺃﻳﻬﻤﺎ ﺃﺷﺪ ﺗﻐﻠﻴﻂ ، ﻭﻳﻨﻜﺮﺍﻥ ﻭﺿﻊ ﺍﻟﻜﺘﺐ ﺑﺎﻟﺮﺃﻱ ﺑﻐﻴﺮ ﺁﺛﺎﺭ ، ﻭﻳﻨﻬﻴﺎﻥ ﻋﻦ ﻣﺠﺎﻟﺴﺔ ﺃﻫﻞ ﺍﻟﻜﻼﻡ ، ﻭﻋﻦ ﺍﻟﻨﻈﺮ ﻓﻲ ﻛﺘﺐ ﺍﻟﻤﺘﻜﻠﻤﻴﻦ ، ﻭﻳﻘﻮﻻﻥ : ﻻ ﻳُﻔﻠﺢ ﺻﺎﺣﺐ ﻛﻼﻡ ﺃﺑﺪًﺍ
Abu Hatim and Abu Zarrah both used to command people to abandon the deviants and the innovators, and they were very severe in that, and they forbade making (authoring) books with opinions not based on narrations. And they forbade people from attending the gatherings of the people of Kalam, and looking in the books of the people of Kalam, and they would say that a person of kalam will never be successful.
